KB Clip collects and stores data via the Slack API. All data is encrpyted in transit and at rest. We primarily store data about users and thire Slack conversations to provide KB Clips basic functionality. We only access data when directed by our users through mechanisms such as Slack's Shortcuts or Slash Commands. Some data is only cached temporarily and securely evicted after a period of time.
In short, your data is your data. We don't share it unless it's required for basic functionality or you ask us to or we are compelled to by a court of law. As of today, we have never been compelled to do so.
We never track anyone individually. We do track visits to our home and marketing pages using Google Analytics or similar services, but no analytics are collected by third parties on pages you create which are hosted by KB Clip.
We never sell or give your information to third parties or information brokers.
We do share some of your account information with trusted partners to provide necessary funtionality. Examples include: Stripe, Sendgrid, and of course, Slack.
We retain data for a given workspace while an account is active. In order to remove or delete your account or any associated data please submit a tech support request via the Contact Us page.
If you are located in a country or region that falls under the scope of the GDPR or similar regulatory laws, you may have data protection laws give you certain rights with respect to your personal data, subject to any exemptions provided by the law, including the rights to: Request access to your personal data; Request correction or deletion of your personal data; Object to our use and processing of your personal data; Request that we limit our use and processing of your personal data; and Request portability of your personal data.
